The Caldeira growth story is a remarkable one. Sales have grown by an
average of 50% per annum year on year between 1991 & 2005 and continue to grow strongly today.
The company has progressed from a market stall in Liverpool, to UK market
leader in the supply of cushions and decorative pillows and then onto become a global home textile supply chain company. Sales have grown from £600k ($1m) in 1998 to over £10m ($20m) in 2007.

As a result of this rapid growth and continued success, Caldeira have won
many prestigious awards for sales growth, entrepreneurial flair and international trade.

In December 2007 Caldeira was named as the winner of the leading UK – China business award for SME’s.
The Rising Star award was given to Caldeira following the way that the company turned the threat of globalization into an opportunity.
North West Business in China Award – 2006
Caldeira scooped the North West China Exporter Award 2005 and North West Business in China Award 2006. Caldeira
impressed the judges with the speed at which the new joint venture company was established and how this has enabled Caldeira to sell its products world-wide.
HRH Prince Andrew, Duke of York visits Caldeira Ltd - 2005
Caldeira UK were delighted to welcome HRH Prince Andrew, Duke of York, to their Liverpool Headquarters in October 2005. During the visit, the
Duke unveiled a plaque to mark the completion of the project which involved the purchase and adaptation of the company’s Knowsley Business Park site at a cost of over £1.5m ($3m)
HM Treasury Rising Star award and 3rd Inner City 100 listing- 2004
The Inner City100 was sponsored by the Financial Times and was the definitive listing of the fastest growing companies within the UK’s urban areas.
Caldeira were listed in 2002, 2003 and 2004 with a sales growth rate of 500% from 1999 to 2003. In December 2004 the Rising Star Award was presented to Caldeira by the
then UK Chancellor Gordon Brown at the last IC100 event.
Virgin Atlantic Fast Track 100 Listing - 2003
The Sunday Times Virgin Atlantic Fast Track 100 is the definitive index of the fastest growing firms in the UK. Caldeira were listed in the index in 2003 because of
their annual compound sales growth rate of 67% from 1998 to 2002. The awards were presented at a special ceremony at Sir Richard Branson’s UK home in June 2004.
